A testosterone test is used to measure the levels of testosterone in your blood.

How to prepare for the blood test appointment?
You can ideally have this test done in the morning after fasting overnight or for 8-12 hours.
Avoid taking any hormonal medications or hormonal supplements before the test.
- Drink plenty of water 24 hours before your appointment. This will make the blood drawing process easier.
- Avoid alcohol 1-2 days before the test.
- Avoid strenuous exercise before the test.
- Wear loose and comfortable clothing to allow easy access to both arms and hands
It generally takes 2- 3 business days to process and release your test results. However, processing times may vary.
