Advanced Digestive Health Panel

€395.00

Maintaining good digestive health is crucial for overall well-being. The digestive system plays a vital role in breaking down food, absorbing nutrients, and eliminating waste. When it functions smoothly, we often take it for granted, but when issues arise, they can significantly impact our quality of life. Individuals facing digestive problems often experience similar symptoms like bloating, gas, and indigestion. These issues can be uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing.

If you experience persistent symptoms like abdominal pain, chronic constipation or diarrhoea, or unexplained weight loss, these might relate to the digestive disease.

Did you know that many peoples have celiac disease but it was not diagnosed as the symptoms are
similar with other digestive issues? Celiac disease is one of the common conditions where individual consuming gluten leads to damage in the small intestine.  The immune system incorrectly perceives glutens as a foreign invader.

Understanding the underlying causes and addressing digestive issues early can prevent more serious
complications and appropriate treatment can significantly improve outcomes and quality of life. Our extended digestive health panel combines both blood and stool tests. Stool tests are often used alongside blood tests to detect infections, inflammation, and the presence of blood in the stool, providing a comprehensive view of digestive health.

Thus, by combining tests will help in the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of various conditions affecting the digestive system. Check your gut health with our advanced digestive health panel for optimal digestive health today.

How to prepare for the blood test appointment?

  • You can ideally have this test done in the morning after fasting overnight or for 8-12 hours.
  • Drink plenty of water 24 hours before your appointment. This will make the blood drawing
    process easier.
  • Avoid alcohol 1-2 days before the test.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise before the test.
  • Wear loose and comfortable clothing to allow easy access to both arms and hands

It generally takes 2- 3 business days to process and release your test results. However, processing times may vary.
